Job Description
- Lead on social content, from planning and creation through to final analysis.
- Own the social schedule, planning and scheduling social content across all platforms.
- Drive new followers and quality engagement across all platforms, as well as retain existing followers.
- Create, develop and execute social first campaigns to drive social KPIs.
- React to and engage with time sensitive social events and opportunities, ensuring the brand guidelines are respected.
- Managing difficult interactions while keeping to the company's neutral standpoint on hot topics
- Identify emerging social platforms, trends and initiatives, ensuring presence and best practise is established, and form part of the social schedule.
- Engage with and respond to direct messages and comments across all platforms to grow the community.
- Champion marketing and business opportunities based on social trends to be explored and implemented.
- Collaborate with the video team to prepare, produce, schedule and execute video content optimised for social, across traditional, short form and live.
- Report on social performance, communicating this to stakeholders and the wider business.
- Conduct competitor social analysis to achieve a greater understanding of the competitor landscape, together with promoting this awareness within the team and wider business.
Job Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of short form content and livestream platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, Twitch, YouTube.
- The ability to self-manage within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowing other languages is considered a bonus
- Experience in social and community management through past or own social presence
- Familiar with collaborating in a global environment
- Experience with interpreting customer/community feedback to make relevant recommendations
